To US-95 South
Oregon 78 ends here at its terminus with US-95. Of the four places listed on this sign, chances are good most people have only heard of one of them; Boise. McDermitt is a tiny little town on the Oregon-Nevada line where I stopped to stretch my legs, grab a drink of water and a Tootsie Pop, the latter of which went unconsumed until I was nearly home. Winnemucca was my stopover for the night and a solid two hours away from here.
