Soubitez G3N fender taillight retrofitted with a Spanninga Pixeo LED with standlight
This is a tiny French bicycle taillight from the 1940s, designed to mount on a fender and accept a standard 0.4W screw-in incandescent bulb. Thus it's hard to find a modern LED taillight circuit that can be retrofitted into it. Compass Bicycles sells an LED "bulb" for direct retrofits into old taillights like these, and it even has a standlight. However, it's not as bright and the standlight isn't as strong as some of the modern LED dynamo taillights on the market (Spanninga Pixeo, B&M Seculite, Supernova E3, etc). The Pixeo LED circuit board is small enough that with modification, can be made to fit nicely inside.
This light is going on an upcoming JP Weigle bike (not mine, unfortunately!).
