Portrait of a Lion

I’ve not had the chance to get out with camera lately so a trip to Doncaster zoo was an opportunity to blow the cobwebs off my gear. I’m not sure what this lion is called but he was more than happy to pose while I managed to take his portrait.

 

Update:

After contacting the park I’ve since found out he is called Ares & lives with his brother Adel.
