She was floated up on 26 February 1992 and provisionally accepted on 27 July 1993. After a series of trials, she was commissioned at Montreal on 21 July 1994, and designated a French Language Unit.

On the River Clyde for Joint Warrior (JW) 152, taking place between 2nd and 19th October 2015 and will comprise of a programme of exercises conducted by land forces, warships, submarines and aircraft across the UK.

 

Joint Warrior.

Is a major bi-annual (spring and autumn) multi-national exercise which takes place in the Scottish Exercise Areas. Planned and co-ordinated by Northwood staff it is facilitated through Faslane which is used as the Headquarters throughout the exercise.
