Star-Lord - Pt. 13 - Space Oddity Pt. 13.
The Emperor of Spartax barges into his palace and scans the room for a guard. As he did a guard walked into the room and bowed to his ruler.
"Y... you don't have to bow." J'son said to the guard. Quickly, the guard stood back up and nodded at the Emperor. "Where's Star-Lord?"
"He left, my Liege." The guard became nervous. He could see the disappointment in his ruler's eyes. "Did you need him for something?"
"No... it's fine. Go on with whatever you were doing." The guard quickly bows to the Emperor and walks back into the room he was in before. "That face, it reminded me of... no it can't be."
The Emperor pondered his thoughts as he rode the elevator to his throne room. As he got to the floor he wanted, his thoughts were interrupted by loud bangs and electrical machines schreeching. He acknowledged the quick response of his servants trying to fix their leader's throne room. The Emperor once again entered the elevator and rode it back to the ground floor. He made his way to the lobby. He sat down on a bench. A man stepped from the shadows and walked towards the Emperor. He remained unnoticed until he tapped the Emperor on the shoulder.
"Miss me?" The man said, startling the Emperor. This caused the Emperor to spin quickly around.
"The heck are you doing here, Tivan?" The Spartax ruler asked.
"Now, that's no way to greet an old friend. Tsk Tsk." The man raised his finger and wagged it in a discerning manner.
"An old friend? Ha!" The Emperor motioned for a guard to join the two men. Tivan laughed and rolled his eyes.
"Quite the cold shoulder, J'son. I wouldn't kick me out so soon. I've got secrets." This caused the Emperor to become intregued. He told the guard to go back to his post. As the guard did so, Tivan sat down on the bench and motioned J'son to do the same. "That man that saved your life. You're wondering who he is, aren't you?"
"I know who he is. He's the new Star-Lord."
"Ha! You are correct in that, but don't you wonder who he really is?"
"I have no need to know that."
"Oh but on the contrary, J'son. You and that boy have more in common that just your playboy-ish ways of living."
"What do you mean."
"You remember that year you spent on Earth quite well don't you?"
"Why yes, of course. Why do you bring that up?"
"Do you remember how long ago that was?"
"Oh, around thirty years..." Tivan jumps from his seat and claps his hands together. He lowers himself to J'son's eye-level and smiles.
"Twenty-nine years and three month to be exact! Do you know why that's important?"
"No..."
"Come on, J'son! That boy... That Star-Lord, he just shows up out of the blue. Saves your life and you think that it's a coincidence that I'm here now asking you about something that happened twenty-nine years ago?"
"But... That's impossible. The Badoon went and killed Meredith and my supposed son."
"No, you idiot! The Badoon failed their main objective! Yes, they killed Meredith, but Peter was smarter than they anticipated. He killed them both. Years later when he matured he became an astronaut. That was almost five years ago that he was sent into space. Five years your son has been in space."
"Five years? You've known about this for five years and didn't tell me about this?"
"You never asked."
"Why would I? I thought my son died, Taneleer! Get out of here! Now!"
Tivan dropped his head and left the building. J'son got up from his seat and punched strait through the bench in anger.
"Why didn't he tell me?"

More drawn backgrounds because this one actually makes sense. Kinda... Idk I had a really cool idea and it didn't look right in Lego.
