Star-Lord - Pt. 8 - Space Oddity Pt. 8.

Both Peter and Alisher landed close to the regulator and both quickly reached out for the device. Peter was just a millisecond quicker and was able to snatch the polarity regulator before Alisher could.

 

 

"Rora! Ready the engines for take off!"

 

 

Peter jumped to his feet and fired a blast from his gun towards Skeleton Ki. The blast hit the floor panels right in front of Alisher. As Sham got to his feet he fired at Star-Lord. Unfortunately he missed and Peter was able to jump out of the still-burning hole in the wall. Skeleton Ki quickly followed after him. Alisher caught up to Star-Lord and tackled him to the ground. Peter grunted as he hit the ground.

 

 

"Give the regulator back!" Alisher yelled at Star-Lord as the former punches the latter in the side of the face. Luckily the blow was mainly absorbed by Peter's helmet. "Tivan will not be happy if I do not give him the regulator myself."

 

 

"I'm not gonna let you just take credit for my work!" As Peter said this, he kicked Skeleton Ki in the chest, forcing Alisher off him. Peter rolled backwards and onto his feet. He grabs his gun and shoots towards Sham. The latter rolled away from the blast just in time and returned the fire.

 

 

"Just give up! The only way you'll leave here is in a body bag!" Tivan threatened Peter as he shot more blasts towards him. Peter was able to dodge the bolts as he returned the fire.

 

 

"Rora, come pick me up!" Peter yelled into his comm as he rolled behind a small bush. Skeleton Ki ran towards the bush in an attempt to hinder Star-Lord from getting away. Unfortunately for him Peter was waiting for him and kicked the pursuer away. Peter was then able to jump safely into his ship as Alisher laid on the ground grabbing his chest.

 

 

"That was close. Rora, set course to Tivan's ship. I need to have a word with him."
