Red Racer Pt. 24.

Alright, so this whole Black Flash situation has only gotten stranger. The scythe randomly begins to shoot electricity from the handle. Julio and I have taken necessary precautions and placed it in a safe room that is based on an old Metahuman containment facility that Barry designed for Iron Heights. Since we did this, Julio has been able to take safe samples of the staff and began trying to find a way to find places that the Black Flash might be. For now, until he does so, I was alerted to a bank for a current robbery in progress.
I arrive at the scene and immediately notice something strange about the scene. All the people around the building are seemingly dazed. Their movements mimic that of a toddler the way they stumble and fall. Odd. No matter, I must stop this bank robbery before any one is hurt. I make my way inside and notice a blonde woman spinning joyously through the small corridor that leads to the room that houses all the safety deposit boxes.
”Freeze, ma’am!” I shout. The woman quickly turns around. She steps closer to me as she twirls a strand of her hair with her finger. ”I said ‘freeze’!”
”I’m sorry. Must have misunderstood you. My bad.”
”Do you know where the thief is?”
”I am the thief and you can’t stop me.” She says as she spins wags her finger in a circular motion towards me. As she does this I begin to get an overwhelming sense of dizziness. It’s almost like a head rush times a hundred. I drop to the ground, holding my head. ”You didn’t even put up a fight. Sorry Flash. Looks like you weren’t fast enough to stop the Top.”
The woman says as she quickly runs into the safety deposit room. Shortly thereafter she comes back out holding a large sack full of money and valuable items. She laughs as she exits the building. I hear the police sirens sounding through the streets as she vanishes from my sight. Hopefully they slow her down until I get my bearings back.
