Trinity 67' hopper (TILX 75th anniversary)
Finally photographed the beauty.
I basically took brick train depot's design, improved some bits (notice how the roof is 5-wide, as it should be) and stretched it to 4 bays. I must say, it BARELY clears Lego's standard R40 curves due to the trucks hitting the outer bays, but it works. Due to the additional curve on the roof, which is necessary to pull off the overall shape, this one is a plate taller than all of my other stuff.
I also decided to use this absolutely stunning paint scheme, which works very, very, very well in the bricks. The stripe is pearl gold, the walkway is pearl light grey, top hatches are white. I also normally don't do stickers for freight cars, but in this case I've decided it's worth it.
Also: BlueBrixx couplers with cut-off buffers. Works like a charm, looks nice, is cheap.
Hope you like it as much as I do.
