These little guys were a last minute change of order. The one on the right has been modified so he can hold a tiny toothpick banner. The wings are candy clay and added afterwards so that the coating won't crack when the toothpick is added. They were dipped white, dry-dusted with yellow, and painted black as I find black candy melts hard to get hold of and difficult to work with.
Note: I use edible dusts mixed with leaf glaze (which is 50/50 confectioners lacquer or varnish mixed with food-grade IsoPropylAlcohol) to paint on my pops.
