A very busy Summer Saturday indeed on the Calais to Paris mainline. This train speeding through Hesdigneul should have been a G or K pacific but Calais depot was clearly strapped for motive power and grabbed anything they could lay their hands on!!

 

Today, electrification, no box and where the photographer is standing there is a Garden Centre!! Mon Dieu!!
