No folks, it's not an A4! But, the "raison d'être" is the same.

 

All railways did it!! Spain was no different with this ex- Madrid, Zaragoza & Alicante 4-8-2. Purely fashion it never made engines go faster and was costly and inefficient. But they looked good for the public ... most of the time!!
