Whitehorse St - Newtown
A sketch on the last school day of the year. This street leads down to Newtown high and primary schools from King St. I wish this sketch occurred to me a couple of weeks before to give to the primary school for their art auction. Before and after school this street fills with kids, would have been a fun drawing. This one is a bit subdued, the school day was over (well, the school year!), most kids were already gone. The sun was still high, it's about 3:30 in the afternoon, summer holidays have begun.
