A larger drawing of my local shopping strip, 150cm x 40cm. In the last couple of years I have done many sketches along this section of the street. Finding the right composition for this larger view took me a while. It finally revealed itself one afternoon riding home on my bicycle. The power poles and wires filled a darkening sky. Everything was dull but created a mood I love about these old nineteenth century streets.
