Sant Sepulcre d'Olerdola

L'antic monestir de Sant Sepulcre d'Olerdola, del que s'en conserva l'església romànica. Es un edifici molt interessant (i desconegut), una de les poques esglésies romàniques circulars de Catalunya, i data del s. XI.
Però la casa també té interès historic, tot i datar en general del s. XVIII, ja que va fer honor al seu nom i fou aquí on va morir el 1890 Francesc Rius i Taulet, un dels més importants alcaldes de Barcelona.

This is the old priory of Sant Sepulcre (Holy Sepulchre, in reference to the Golgotha) d'Olerdola, of which the Romanesque church is preserved. It is a very interesting (and unknown) building, one of the few circular Romanesque churches in Catalonia, and dates from the XI Century.
But the house also has historical interest, despite generally dating from the XVIII Century. Francesc Rius i Taulet, one of the most important mayors of Barcelona, died here in 1890, giving even more meaning to the name of the house.
