L'església de Sant Llorenç de Morunys, al Solsonès, fou fins al 1592, un monestir benedictí (fundat al s. X). De fet, a partir del segle XIII la vila que porta el seu nom va creixer entorn el monestir ja existent. Al costat de l'església romànica amb altars barrocs hi ha el més aviat auster i sombrivol claustre. Data de cap als ségles XV o XVI, i de fet una de les galeries és una reconstrucció moderna.
Sant Llorenç dels Morunys també es coneix com Sant Llorenç dels Piteus.

The church of Sant Llorenç de Morunys was, until 1592, a Benedictine monastery (founded in the 10th century). In fact, from the 13th century the town that bears it's same name grew around the already existing monastery.
Besides the Romanesque church with baroque altars, stands the rather austere and dark cloister. It's not medieval, but dates from the XV or XVI Centuries.
The town of St. Llorenç dels Morunys is also known as St. Llorenç dels Piteus.
