Superga, meravella barroca / Supreme baroque in Superga

IN ENGLISH BELOW THE LINE

The Basilica of Superga is a sanctuary on the outskirts of the city of Turin (Torino), located in the peaks on the other side of the Po River, to the east. It is an impressive baroque church built between 1706 and 1731 and designed by Filippo Juvarra.

We used the vintage Sassi-Superga tramway to go there.
