Aquesta empresa fou fundada el 1879 per Alessandro Martini, Luigi Rossi i Teofilo Sola. Tal com ha quedat la marca, sembla clar que la veu cantant la portava el sr. Martini. Es coneguda mundialment pels seus vermuts i altres licors, i també patrocina molts esports, notablement el món dels rallies.
