La mirada Graflex / The Graflex stare

Amb orgull us puc presentar el meu trio de les més magnifiques, grans i veteranes càmeres Graflex, reflex de gran format.
Es tracta de tres càmeres de 4x5 (la de la esquerra) i 5x7 polzades, totes elles fabricades per Graflex (quan aquesta era la Graflex Division dins del gegant Eastman Kodak, 1905-1926) entre 1906 i 1923, i totes son gegantines SLR, amb el seu mirall mobil, obturador de pla focal Folmer-Schwing, i el visor superior de "xemeneia". També totes tres... necessiten una seriosa posta a punt del obturador, tot i que les cortines respectives estan en bon estat i he pogut fer fotos amb les tres.
D'esquerra a dreta, teniu la Revolving Back Auto Graflex, de 4x5 i fabricada cap a 1906-1908, i és la més veterana. Després ve la més espectacular de totes, la Press Graflex, fabricada per als fotoperiodistes cap a 1916-1920; finalment, la segona 5x7 és la Graflex Auto fabricada cap a 1911-1915.

I am proud to present to you my trio of the most magnificent, large and veteran Graflex large format reflex cameras.
These are 4x5 (the one on the left) and 5x7 inch cameras, all made by Graflex (when this was the Graflex Division within the giant Eastman Kodak, 1905-1926) between 1906 and 1923, and all of them are gigantic SLRs, with its movable mirror, Folmer-Schwing focal plane shutter, and "chimney" top viewfinder. Also all three...need some serious shutter CLA, although the respective curtains are in good condition and I was able to take photos with all three.
From left to right, you have the Revolving Back Auto Graflex, 4x5, and made around 1906-1908, and is the oldest. Then comes the most spectacular of all, the Press Graflex, manufactured for photojournalists in 5x7 around 1916-1920; finally, the second 5x7 is the Graflex Auto manufactured around 1911-1915.
