Tot i que molt poc coneguda, segur que us sona aquest edifici en un xamfrà del Eixample barceloní. Es tracta de la Casa Ferran Guardiola, també coneguda com La Casa Xinesa. Això es deu al seu estil, barreja d' art decó amb modernisme tardà i decoracions orientalitzants. Fou dissenyada per Joan Guardiola i construida el 1929.

Although not as famous as the art nouveau buildings by Antoni Gaudi or other architects, this is one of the most spectacular and unique buildings in Barcelona. This is Casa Ferran Guardiola, also known as The Chinese House. This is due to its style, a mixture of art deco with late modernism and oriental decorations. It was designed by Joan Guardiola and built in 1929.
