La Causse Mejan (Mejean en francès) és la més interessant de les Grans Causses, o altiplans del Massis Central, a Occitania. La Mejean (que vol dir "mitjana") es troba al centre de tot el sistema, encerclada per cingles tot al entorn. La major part del seu quasi deshabitat interior, mostra un serè i auster paisatge estepari. M'encanta.

The Causse Mejan (Mejean in French) is the most interesting of the Grand Causses, or highland plateaus of the Massif Central, in Occitania. The Causse Mejean (meaning "middle one") is located in the center of the entire system, surrounded by cliffs all around, like an island. Most of its almost uninhabited interior, shows a serene and austere steppe landscape. It's one of the most sparsely populated places in France. I love this place.
