Molt probablement, si pregunteu quina càmera reflex purament analogica excel·leix per sobre de la resta, en surti guanyadora la Nikon FM2.
Situada al final de una inmensa familia de les reflex Nikon, que començà amb la iconica Nikon F (o F1), es tracta de la darrera SLR purament mecanica que fabricà Nikon. I fou un gran exit de vendes, produint-se entre el 1983 i el 2001. Quan dic purament mecànica, vull dir que no té cap sistema de automatisme com prioritat de velocitat, apertura, etc... Només té electrònica (i piles) per al fotometre, que si no funciona no passa res, la càmera continua funcionant, però sense lectura de llum.
A això cal sumar-hi que fou la primera càmera en arribar a oferir velocitats de 1/4000 i que te fama per la seva robustesa en condicions extremes. Per això fou una favoritat dels fotoperiodistes, especialment per a zones de conflicte. La famosa foto de la nena afganesa? Feta amb una FM2.
De fet, aquesta és una FM2n, el model millorat fabricat a partir de 1984, que incrementà la velocitat de flaix fins a 1/250. També, a partir de 1989 la cortina del obturador passà de titani a alumini, essent més barat i resistent.
Aquesta FM2n en concret, pel nº de serie, sembla fabricada entre 1989 i 1991, i és una de les càmeres analogiques més modernes que tinc. La vaig comprar sense objectiu (el Sigma Mini-Wide f2.8 28mm el vaig comprar després a Barcelona) i força bé de preu. Tenia un defecte en el rebobinador, però amb un lleuger manteniment i loctite ja està arreglat. El propietari original la comprà a Colorado Springs (Estats Units), i té marques d'extens ús, com la pintura del darrera rascada o la marca FM2 pintada en negre per a ser més discreta. Em pregunto per quina experiencia passà?

This FM2n in particular, for the serial number, seems to have been manufactured between 1989 and 1991, and is one of the most modern analog cameras I have. I bought it without lens (the Sigma Mini-Wide f2.8 28mm I bough it latter in Barcelona) and quite cheap for this model. It had an issue in the rewind lever, but with a slight disassembly and a bit of contact glue is already fixed. It was bought originally in "Cameraworks", Colorado Springs (USA), and has widely used marks, such as the scratched paint in the corners, or the FM2 name painted black to be more discreet. I wonder what experience you went through?
