===============================================

Roger de Lluria, born as Ruggiero di Lauria in southern Italy, was the commander of the naval forces of the crown of Aragon (mostly Catalan, as Aragon was only the name) during the wars for the control of Sicily and against the French invasion of Catalonia in 1285. His tomb is at the feet of his king, Peter the Great, in Santes Creus abbey.
