El famós mamut del Parc de la Ciutadella de Barcelona. Creat el 1907 en formigó (la 1ª estatua d'aquest material a la ciutat), a imatge d'un mamut real trobat a Siberia pocs anys abans.

In the october of 2019, Paul Barbato, of the wonderful Youtube site Geography Now! visited Barcelona, and had a meeting with followers. We were about fifteen, and meet at the famous mammoth in the Parc de la Ciutadella. Hey Paul, keep the great work in Geography Now!!!
In Barcelona there's one famous spot for ice age interest. It's a concrete mammoth, made in 1907. It was going the be the first of a series of real scale prehistoric animals, but only this one was built.
