ÜberZeiss
Una de les càmeres de format mitjà més impresionants que hi ha tant per mida com per imatge és la Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 530/2, també anomenada Super Ikonta C. És com una mena de panzer de les càmeres plegables de format mitjà. Fou produida entre el 1933 i el 1936, i amb lleugers canvis, com a 531/2 entre el 1936 i el 1950. Posteriorment els sovietics copiaren aquests darrers models com a KMZ Moskva 2, 4 i 5.
Es tracta d’una càmera telemètrica de format 120, que pot fer fotos tant de 6x9 com de 6x4’5 (amb una màscara interior que no tinc). L’obturador és un Compur, amb objectiu Zeiss Tessar f3.8 de 105mm. Compta amb disparador en el cos de la càmera, tot i que en principi les 530/2 no en tenien (s’havien de disparar des del obturador), pel que deu tractar-se dels ultims models abans de la nova 531/2; pertant es probable que dati del 1936 (la lent s’hi pot datar pel num. de serie).

One of the most impressive 120 format cameras, and top of them when it was introduced, is the German Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 530/2, also known as Super Ikomat or Super Ikonta C. It’s the panzer of the folding cameras, with it’s impressive self-erecting shutter and rangefinder. It was produced from 1933 to 1936, and with small improvements, renamed as the 531/2 and produced even after the war until 1950. Even the Soviets copied this last model as the KMZ Moskva 2, 4 and 5, producing them up to 1960.
It’s a 120 folding rangefinder camera, producing 6x9 or 6x4’5 pictures (the later with an internal mask, which I don’t have). The leaf shutter is a Compur, and the lens a Zeiss Tessar f3.8 105mm. The 530 model had the shutter release IN the shutter, but mine has it in the camera body, so it must be a transition model, maybe made in 1936. The Tessar can be tracked to that year indeed.
