La Rolleiflex old Standard és un dels models més antics de la famosa família de càmeres de format mitjà. De fet, és la més antiga que es pot fer servir actualment sense problemes, ja que empra rodets de format 120, mentre que la seva predecessora no.
En el seu moment s'anomenà Rolleiflex Standard, i només es passà a coneixer com "Old" Standard amb la logica aparició de la New Standard el 1939.
Aquesta preciositat es fabricà entre el 1932 i el 1938 en tres sub-variants, la 620, la 621 i la 622; la de la foto és una 622 i data probablement del 1936. Encara conserva la coberta doble per als objectius, amb l'emblema del fabricant, Franke & Eindecke, així com del proveidor de les lents, Carl Zeiss (Tessar f3.5 de 75mm).
Robert Capa emprà una Rolleiflex d'aquest model al llarg de la Segona Guerra Mundial, al costat de la més compacta Contax II.

The Rolleiflex old Standard is one of the oldest models of the famous family of medium-format TLR cameras. In fact, it is the oldest one that can be used nowadays without problems, as it uses 120 format roll film, while its predecessor does not.
Back then, it was called just the Rolleiflex Standard, and it only became known as "Old" Standard with the logical appearance of the New Standard in 1939.
This preciousness was manufactured between 1932 and 1938 in three sub-variants, 620, 621 and 622; the one in the photo is a 622 and probably was made in 1936. It still retains the double cover for the objectives, with the emblem of the manufacturer, Franke & Eindecke, as well as the lens supplier, Carl Zeiss (a Tessar f3.5 of 75mm ).
Robert Capa used a Rolleiflex of this model throughout the Second World War, along with the more compact Contax II.
