Daurada vestida d'estiu (encara) / Still with breeding plumage
La daurada grossa (pluvialis apricaria) sovint es veu per Catalunya amb el plomatge d'hivern, que és quan arriba. Aquest plomatge és tot de tons terrosos, blancs i daurats (d'aquí el nom). Però gairebé a desembre encara n'hi havia algunes amb el plomatge d'estiu, amb les parts inferiors negres. Sintoma del canvi climatic??

In Catalonia we usually see the European golden plover in its winter plumage (they only appear here in late fall). But some of them in late november still showed their breeding plumage (shown by the black underside).
