La curiosa església romànica circular de Sant Pere Gros, a Cervera, és una de les esglésies de planta circular més ben conservades de Catalunya, i segurament la més gran. La planta circular és típica de l'arquitectura llombarda, del nord d'Italia.

The romanesque church of St. Pere Gros is the biggest circular plan church in Catalonia. This architectonic style is typical of the lombard romanesque architecture, which was the most used in Catalonia during the X-XII Centuries. It appeared also in a northern version, in Scandinavia, Germany and England.
St. Pere Gros was a priory, but only the church remains.
