==========================================

The church of Sta. Coloma d'Andorra is one of the oldest of that tiny country in the Pyrenees. It was built between the VII and XI Centuries, being part pre-romanesque and romanesque in style. It's bell-tower is round, a not-so-usual shape for romanesque towers, at least arround Catalonia. Another round one is found in St. Martí d'Ars church, just about 15 kms. away.

The main walls are unusually reinforced by embeded timbers, acting like a kind of ancient "rebar" in concrete. This allowed a quite large nave.
