Same river different light
Our three day stay at the beach coincided with the development of a low pressure area off the southeast US coast. We had reserved our favorite campsite, the closest site to the beach and therefore also the windiest. And the wind did blow. I shoot for HDR so I like subjects that don't move and almost everything was moving. When it looked like we were going to have a good sunset I set off down the beach to shoot these "stationary" navigation beacons on the St. Marys River.
This was one of those sunsets where the sky really exploded with color after the sun was below the horizon, so it was worth the soaked pant legs and the sand in the eyes.
