Zangya

Bad guy henchmen in DBZ movies don't often get very much screen time or characterization (movies 4 and 5 bucked this trend, oddly enough). They just look cool and have some interesting powers (except for the duds in movie 3. Really). Bojack's crew all had the same power set, and only a few lines apiece, but visually, they were AWESOME. Also, one of them was a girl. The only female movie henchman. One of a handful of female bad guys. In fact, one of very few female characters, period! No wonder Zangya's shown up in nearly every video game (even in the early '90s, when movie characters weren't common in the games), is the subject of tons of fan art (some of which should not be looked up, kiddies), and lots of fanfic (heyyyyyyy!). Although... she's got four toys - this miniature put out by a French company, a smaller version of the same (it's really teeny), a mono-color rubber keshi, and as part of a resin statue set of Bojack and one of his crew members (guess who!). That's more than most movie henchmen. It's more than some movie main villains, like Bio-Broly or Lord Slug!

Oh yeah, what she did in the movie. Zangya beat up Krillin, helped beat up everybody else (generally, they worked as a team), and died when Bojack tried to surprise Gohan with an energy blast by firing it behind/through one of his own people. Ouch. She has a much bigger attack repetoire and personality in the video games, though, and is one of my favorites in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 - that's the really fun fighting game that got me nostalgic about DBZ again, because it's fun. fun. fun. Also, her SKy Zapper super gives you an instant win in that one arena with ring out rules.

And hey, blue-skinned gypsy pirate elf alien! What's not to love?
