His name might be unknown, or it might be Tony Masters. Depends on the writer. The Taskmaster has a special kind of photographic memory that does not exist in the real world - if he sees a physical feat performed, he can do it himself so long as it's humanly possible. That means that this guy is the ultimate combo-platter copycat in the Marvel Universe. And without super powers, he has beaten up the likes of Captain America!
He's also smart - Taskmaster doesn't use his abilities to rob banks and fight superior heroes, he uses them to train henchmen for other bad guys. Or assistants for good guys. Or agents ofr the u.S. government. otr other things that bring in the money but keep his butt un-kicked.
And I dunno, I think he came before Skeletor.
