Cell Juniors
Evil King Piccolo could spit up little babies on a whim (which is where the heroic Piccolo came from). No idea whether good-guy Piccolo could do that or not, but Cell could pick up the slack thanks to Piccolo's stolen DNA. He created a total of seven Cell Juniors in the big fight, intending to use them to harrass everybody until Gohan got mad enough to show off his true power. Funny thing was, the Juniors were comparable enough in power to Cell that they actually kicked everybody's asses!
Mind you, when Gohan went SUper Saiyan Level 2 (aka "we wanted to recycle what happened to Frieza"), he took out all of the Juniors with one hit apiece!
