Axel Hawk
Hailing from Fatal Fury 2, Axel Hawk is a former heavyweight champion who came out of retirement to serve as one of Wolfgang Krauser's three top fighters in the King of Fighters tournament. He serves as the game's "Balrog." Actually, considering that Fatal Fury was not a Street Fighter ripoff (though FF2 did, a bit), he's probably more of a take on Michael Max, the boxer from the first game. Axel has more moves in common with Max than Balrog, anyway.
A rough, tough, vicious fighter, Axel Hawk shows no mercy in battle... though he does love his momma! After the tournament in Fatal Fury 2, he retired to take care of his mom, and still trains younger boxers from time to time. he's one of the few Fatal Fury characters to never make a playable appearance ever again.
And yes, there was a full line of super deformed keshi of the whole Fatal Fury 2 cast - this is the only one I own, though.
