Warfang Keep is a great example of a "Location" in Dreamblade, a piece which functions not as an attacking soldier, but a massive environmental effect for that square or adjacent ones. Warfang Keep increased victory points earned nearby, whereas others might up spawn points, block enemies, attack on their own, or even shift pieces around at random. Getting rid of a location is difficult, too, ensuring that location placement is key in Dreamblade. I know that it was the case in my team - once I got my two locations down (and I did 90% of the time), then I'd have enough spawn points to bring in my heavy hitters immediately without delay.
