Behemoth
The Behemoth as described in Job cannot be an elephant. Show me one piece of ancient poetry where an elephant's trunk is called a "mighty tail like a cedar," and then we'll talk. It was a legendary beast or extant/fossilized dinosaur. Or maybe a whale. BUT... the elephant design managed to survive its way into the Dictionnaire Infernal, where Collin de Plancy declared Behemoth to be a gluttonous elephant, and Satan's cupbearer. Sometimes I don't know where they come up with these things.
