Cutting It Close
With a pair of barns up front, CN train L307 puts the brakes too the downtown patrons of Lapeer temporarily. The trailing unit was originally the solo power on this train, but a burned up traction motor caused an extensive delay. With the train several hours late, another engine was brought to assist the train. Upon learning the CN 2407 and 2442 were paired together on the train, a quick trip to Lapeer yielded just enough light to get a photo.
