I figured since there were no HDR images on the first page of my photostream I ought to be reasonably safe from the wrath of wacka if I posted a HDR today :D Thus I shot this picture of the bird reserve I pass pretty much every time I drive into town. I have flirted with it a couple of times but never got around to shooting the sculpture that so captures my eye whenever I pass it. Today was the day and the timing was almost perfect for my taste.
It has been yet another fantastic spring day, bright warm sunshine, all the conversations I eavesdropped on during the day had some content about the weather and how great it is that the warmth has returned.
Biggest scandal on my radio station today.... and one that shocked me a bit also... a school in the south of Sweden when teaching English is using teaching material where the students have to translate a sentence into English the sentence that is quite shocking that they have to translate into English "värgarna har ätit up alla negrar" and the translation would be "the wolves have eaten all the (insert bad word for dark skinned people here) now ok I can accept the fact that there teaching materials are old but one can only wonder why the teacher didn't stop for a moment and think hmmn this really isn't appropriate ......
I hope you have a great Friday, mine is going to be AWESOME
