Thomas Grubba
Ridge LR 1
I'm not quite sure why but I just love this one.
6 SB-800's, all SU-4 (optical) trigger.
One CL, Full Diffusion, pointed up and CL, 1/4 power
One just CR out of the frame, Full Diffusion, pointed up and away from the camera, 1/16th power.
One on camera, WAD, pointed up and into the room, 1/4 power.
This will be hard to explain but one behind the pillars in the study, WAD, pointed straight into the room, 1/16th power. By far the hardest light to position correctly to get enough light and not make too amny shadows or a hot spot on the ceiling.
One in foyer the the right of the stairs, WAD pointed CR, 1/2 power.
One in upper balcony area, WAD, pointed straight up at 1/2 power.
Oh, and as per my favorite recipe, lots of ambient.
