So I have finally found my favorite lighitng recipe:
3 parts ambient
1 part flash
4 parts color (not yellow)
and -8 parts view
taken at 4:00 in the afternoon where the table lamp exposure matches the window exposure.
Lighting:
All SB-800's in SU-4 mode
One on camera, WAD pointed into room, 1/4 power
One CL, Full Diffusion, pointed into wall behind me, 1/4 power
One CR behing the plant, WAD, pointed towards the corner, 1/16th power
There was a lot of ambient added to this shot from the skylight above and thank whomever becaus lighting a scene with beams like this is a pain!
