So the really, really tricky part on this one was how to light the upper office area. At first I told the agent that there was no way to do that, and she would have to live with a dark office ( the ambient exp was way to great in the lower area, especially the fireplace to even think of pulling that in.) I sat with it for a bit and then figured I could place 2 lights up there, placed directly behind the railing beams, jammed up against the walls and clone out the legs that were showing. Lighting is:
6 SB-800's SU-4 mode..
One CR, full diffusion over the chair pointed up and right into ceiling, 1/4 power.
One on camera, WAD pointed up and CL, 1/2 power.
One in the DR behind the doors, CL pointed away from the table, WAD, 1/4 power.
One in the entry to the left of the doors, pointed away from the camera, 16th power.
Two in the upper office, one behind the first beam, ponted into the office, WAD, 1/32nd power. And one behind the second beam, same set up.
All to balance for the hot spot on the white fireplace...
