Knoll Ridge DR to LR
Whew, the view! Another tricky, tricky shot. The main difficultly was getting the correct amount of light in the living room without creating so many reflections in the windows I would spend forever cutting and pasting. This is certianly one of the more complicated shots I've done from a flash placement standpoint. Of course the view was the main feature for this shot.
6 SB-800's all SU-4 mode.
One on camera, WAD, pointed up at 1/2 power.
One CR, WAD, pointed into the room at 1/2 power.
One CL, full diffusion bounced off the wall at 1/2 power.
And now the really tricky part, 3 in the livingroom all side by side. Two are WAD, pointed into the room up high and down (M. James style) at a 45 degree angle from each other. The third is full diffusion pointed away from the couch into the back of the living room at full power. If I carried umbrellas they would have been really helpful here, gotta start doing that. Oh, and I could have burned the ceiling a bit. Still I was and am really happy with this one.
