Slime Mold

Found at Mayville Ledge Beech-Maple Woods SNA in east-central Wisconsin. Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA.

 

Found on fallen tree in mixed hardwood forest. Presumably a Chocolate Tube Slime, Stemonitis sp.
