Lady Beetle (Propylea quatuordecimpunctata)

Propylea quatuordecimpunctata (Linnaeus, 1758) - Fourteen-spotted Lady Beetle. Thanks to v belov for confirming the species ID on bugguide. Found at Mayville Ledge Beech-Maple Woods SNA in east-central Wisconsin. Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA.

 

Found in mixed hardwood forest. Found on the trunk of a fallen dead debarked hardwood tree.
