Robber Fly (Andrenosoma fulvicaudum) with prey
Male Andrenosoma fulvicaudum (Say 1823). Found at Necedah NWR in central Wisconsin. Juneau County, Wisconsin, USA.
There were numerous individuals of this species hanging around on logs in log piles at side of sand/gravel road. This one had snagged a wasp as prey.
