Iguana

Found at Palo Verde Biological Station, inside Palo Verde National Park. Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica.

 

Presumably Black Spiny-tailed Iguana - Ctenosaura similis. Confirmation/correction welcomed.

 

Several of these were resident around the station. Some were marked for a recent study with colorful beads behind the head.
