White-nosed Coati (Nasua narica)

Nasua narica (Linnaeus, 1766) - White-nosed Coati. Found at Palo Verde Biological Station, inside Palo Verde National Park. Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica.

 

A group of these were foraging in the forest about 20-30 feet in from the road. Some were very interested in this fallen tree.
