Robber Fly (Pegesimallus sp.)

Pegesimallus sp. Found at Goukamma Nature Reserve, WNW of Buffelsbaai. Western Cape, South Africa.

 

Found in coastal forest habitat along the Buffalo Bay Trail. I saw a couple of these largish robbers in this little area.
