Assassin Bug (Eupheno sp.)

Eupheno sp. Tentative ID based on www.inaturalist.org images. Found at Reserva Ecológica de Guapiaçu (REGUA), in Cachoeiras de Macacu municipality in state of Rio de Janeiro in southeastern Brazil.

 

Saw several of these on a recently felled tree.

 

Found in the wetlands trails (Yellow/Brown) area.
