Female Diogmites sp. Thanks to Eric Fisher for confirming my tentative determination on 'diptera.info' website. Found at Finca Las Piedras, near town of Monterrey in Madre de Dios region in southeastern Peru.
She was ovipositing in various spots along the trail.
