Tiger Beetle (Odontocheila sp.)

Odontocheila sp. Tentative ID based on www.inaturalist.org images. Found at Las Piedras Amazon Center in Madre de Dios region in southeastern Peru.

 

Saw several of these at this reserve, mostly on the trails. They would fly up and land on the low vegetation.
